Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts available: Days (0700-1900), Mids (1100-2300), or Nights (1900-0700)
- Weekend rotation: every 3rd weekend
- No on-call; assigned holidays based on rotation
- Schedules released a month in advance in 6-week blocks
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license with at least 2 years of ER experience (all trauma levels considered)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Expertise in IV starts, neuro assessments, IV/cardiac drips, moderate sedation, triage, and critical care situations
- Strong team player, adaptable, and comfortable serving as a subject matter expert in the ER
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- First-time travelers not accepted
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert care to patients across the lifespan, from infants to geriatrics
- Manage diverse emergency cases, including chest pain, trauma, behavioral health, sepsis, and post-transplant complications
- Triage, stabilize, and coordinate care for critically ill and trauma patients
- Mentor and support peers, contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment
