Schedule/Hours:

  • Days: 7:00am7:00pm
  • Mids: 11:00am11:00pm
  • Nights: 7:00pm7:00am
  • Weekend rotation required (every third weekend)
  • No on-call; holiday rotations shared equitably

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with minimum 2 years of ER experience in any trauma level setting (no first-time travelers)
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
  • Proficiency with Cerner EMR (preferred)
  • Skills: IV starts, foley and NG tube insertions, neuro assessments, triage, code response, cardiac/critical drips, sedation, assisting bedside procedures, and team leadership
  • Strong adaptability and teamwork; subject matter expertise in ER nursing

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver care to a diverse population (infants through elderly) with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions
  • Perform and manage advanced clinical procedures and interventions
  • Lead by example and act as a resource for fellow team members
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
