Expand your clinical expertise by working within a robust, fast-paced emergency department that provides care for a wide range of patientsfrom infants to geriatrics. This experience will enable you to deepen your skills, collaborate with diverse professionals, and adapt to novel patient care protocols. Schedule/Hours:
- Days: 7:00 am 7:00 pm
- Mids: 11:00 am 11:00 pm
- Nights: 7:00 pm 7:00 am
- Every 3rd weekend rotation
- No on-call required
- Holiday rotation as needed
Desired Qualifications:
- Active RN license; BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS required
- Minimum 2 years of ER experience (trauma level experience accepted)
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR preferred
- Skills in IV starts, foley/NG tube insertion, neuro assessments, code response, pressors, sedation, and critical patient care
- Must be a team player, adaptable, and comfortable as a subject matter expert in the ER
- Previous travel nursing experience required (not accepting first-time travelers)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive ER care for varied patient populations and conditions, including trauma stabilization and acute medical emergencies
- Perform advanced clinical skills and moderate sedation for bedside procedures
- Lead by example within a supportive, collaborative team
