With exposure to a diverse patient populationspanning pediatric to adult and a wide range of emergent diagnosesyoull expand your clinical competencies and gain invaluable experience working with different healthcare practices and leadership approaches. Schedule/Hours:
- Shifts and hours vary; flexible scheduling may be required due to regional floating.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Minimum 2 years recent Emergency Department RN experience
- RN license with BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI required; TNCC preferred
- Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, critical care drips, vent management, chest tubes, PIV starts, TNK/TPA administration, conscious sedation, ESI Assessments
- Comfort working with both pediatric and adult populations
- Experience with Epic EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell, and Phillips monitors preferred
- Willingness to float throughout the region as required
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality emergency care for varied patient diagnoses including cardiac, stroke, respiratory, trauma, and diabetes-related cases
- Collaborate with a supportive team including RNs, CNAs, ED physicians, hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and telemonitoring staff
- Adhere to evidence-based clinical guidelines and facility policies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR
- Participate in orientation and adapt to various unit workflows as needed
