Job Description

A registered nurse with emergency room experience is needed to provide skilled care in an acute care setting in Marshall, TX. Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
  • At least one year of ER or related nursing experience desired
  • Current RN license valid in Texas or through the nursing compact
  • Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS (all from AHA)
  • Current TNCC certification
  • Commitment to ongoing competency validation and orientation program participation

Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for assigned patients
  • Address diverse psychological, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
  • Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for efficacy and side effects
  • Maintain accurate, detailed patient documentation
  • Educate patients and caregivers on health management and care plans
  • Delegate tasks and manage clinical situations effectively
  • Comply with organizational competency and entry validation requirements

Work Schedule:

  • Night shifts, 8 PM to 8 AM
  • 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts
