Qualifications:

• Active Georgia RN license in good standing
• Minimum of one year of experience in Emergency Room nursing preferred
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required; additional Emergency Nursing certifications (such as PALS or TNCC) are a plus
• Working knowledge of the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association Code of Ethics
• Collaborative communication style and strong critical thinking skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct care to ER patients in accordance with professional nursing standards and department processes
• Serve as a clinical resource and patient advocate while upholding policies, procedures, and patient safety initiatives
• Participate actively as a member of the interdisciplinary care team, including licensed and unlicensed caregivers
• Adhere to evidence-based practices within the established nursing framework and organizational values
