Schedule/Hours:
- 3:00 PM 3:00 AM shifts
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday rotation included
Key Qualifications:
- Current Illinois RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience in a large, high-acuity hospital
- Experience in pediatric emergency care
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt to rapidly changing situations
- Permanent address must be located outside a 50-mile radius
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide responsive, high-quality care to patients in an active emergency department setting
- Triage and assess patients of all ages, including pediatric cases
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient treatment
- Respond effectively during medical emergencies and demonstrate sound clinical judgment
- Document accurately in electronic medical records
