As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, youll work alongside experienced teams in a large, fast-paced hospital setting. This assignment supports your professional development as you collaborate with diverse clinical experts, build new clinical skills, and observe varied approaches to patient care and department leadership. Schedule/Hours:
- Night shift: 7:00 pm 7:00 am
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday rotation included
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois RN license
- Current BLS & ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in a large, busy hospital ER
- Pediatric emergency experience required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facilitys location
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients of all ages in the Emergency Department
- Rapidly assess, triage, and implement appropriate interventions for a wide range of acute conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes while supporting families through emergent situations
- Maintain thorough, accurate patient records and adhere to all facility guidelines and regulatory protocols
