A rewarding nursing opportunity awaits those passionate about emergency care and looking to make a positive difference in a dynamic environment. This role is ideal for experienced Registered Nurses seeking to further develop their skills in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting.

Schedule:

• Rotating shifts: 4 weeks of nights followed by 4 weeks of days (or vice versa, based on rotation)
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care in the Emergency Room, collaborating closely with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
• Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with a wide variety of urgent and emergent health issues
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions quickly and accurately
• Utilize advanced critical thinking skills to respond effectively to rapidly changing patient conditions
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing health needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all regulatory and hospital protocols

Desired Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications such as PALS or TNCC are preferred)
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize in high-acuity situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
