Schedule:
- Shifts: 3:00 pm 3:00 am
- Every other weekend required
- Rotating holidays
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Active Illinois RN license
- BLS & ACLS certifications (current)
- Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience in a large hospital
- Pediatric emergency experience
- Must reside at least 50 miles outside of Loves Park, IL
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert, compassionate care across all age groups, including pediatric patients, in a fast-paced ER environment
- Accurately assess, triage, and manage acute, emergent, and non-urgent care cases
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives and uphold evidence-based best practices
- Demonstrate flexibility and professionalism while working rotating weekends and holidays
