Position Details:
- Shifts: 7:00 pm7:00 am
- Schedule: Every other weekend, including a holiday rotation
- Location Requirement: Permanent address must be more than 50 miles outside the area
Qualifications:
- Current RN license (IL)
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of ER experience in a large, busy hospital
- Pediatric ER experience required
- Proven adaptability and strong communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive, high-quality emergency nursing care for adult and pediatric populations
- Collaborate seamlessly with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure swift, accurate interventions
- Utilize sound clinical judgment to triage and respond in a fast-paced environment
- Document assessments and interventions thoroughly and accurately
- Participate in hospital safety, compliance, and quality improvement processes
