Key responsibilities:
- Deliver coordinated and compassionate emergency care to assigned patients, adhering to established standards and the nursing process
- Oversee and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
- Utilize critical thinking, sound professional discretion, and independent judgment in a dynamic ER setting
- Handle triage, treatment, and support for trauma and emergency patients
- Ensure compliance with NCI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) requirements
- Employ moderate sedation skills as needed for emergency procedures
Desired qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered RN license
- Previous Emergency Room nursing experience strongly preferred
- NCI Certification (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) required
- Moderate Sedation Training required
- Strong assessment, organizational, and critical-thinking skills
- Effective communicator with proven team collaboration abilities
