Key Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Proven experience in Emergency Room (ER) nursing
- Advanced critical thinking and decision-making capabilities
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and direct support staff
- Flexibility to function within various levels of nursing teams, including Float Pool assignments
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide coordinated nursing care using the nursing process and established standards
- Supervise and guide the work of assigned nursing staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Exercise sound, independent judgment in urgent and high-pressure situations
- Accurately document patient care activities and adhere to department-specific procedures
