Required Skills & Experience:
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Recent nursing experience in an emergency room setting
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Ability to supervise and direct assigned nursing staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to individual patients and groups in accordance with established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise, guide, and mentor various levels of assigned nursing staff
- Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams
- Exercise critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in all clinical and supervisory duties
- Float as needed and ensure accurate documentation of education and non-productive hours
