Job Description
Provide expert nursing care in a dynamic Emergency Room setting, delivering coordinated and compassionate treatment to patients while adhering to established standards of care and the nursing process. This travel nursing role offers the opportunity to utilize strong clinical judgment and leadership skills within a collaborative healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients in the Emergency Room using critical thinking and clinical expertise.
- Supervise and direct nursing staff across various levels, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to protocols.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans effectively.
- Utilize professional discretion and independent judgment to address patient needs and emergent situations.
- Document care and patient progress accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in education and non-productive hours within the Float Pool as required, clocking in to the specific units worked.
Desired Experience:
- Current and valid RN licensure.
- Experience in Emergency Room nursing with strong critical care skills.
- Proven leadership abilities in supervising nursing staff.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced clinical environments.
