Job Description

Provide expert nursing care in a dynamic emergency room setting, delivering coordinated treatment and supervision for patients of all ages in an acute care environment. This travel nursing role is ideal for experienced RNs ready to apply critical thinking and professional judgment to support trauma and emergency patients while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care using established standards and the nursing process.
  • Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at various levels.
  • Coordinate patient care with other healthcare disciplines to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in triage, treatment, and support for trauma and emergency patients.
  • Apply Moderate Sedation techniques as required.
  • Comply with Nursing Care Improvement (NCI) standards.

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license with experience in Emergency Room (ER) nursing.
  • Moderate Sedation Training certification.
  • Ability to supervise and direct nursing staff effectively.
  • Strong critical thinking and independent judgment skills.
  • Experience in trauma and acute care settings preferred.
