Schedule/Hours

• Travel assignment with variable shifts based on department needs.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in applicable state.
• Minimum of one year recent experience working as an ER nurse.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.
• Strong critical thinking, judgment, and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise and direct nursing staff at varying levels.
• Flexibility to coordinate efforts with interprofessional teams.
• BLS and ACLS certification (additional ER certifications a plus).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department following established protocols and standards.
• Supervise and guide assigned nursing staff, ensuring high standards of practice and efficient workflows.
• Utilize critical thinking to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Serve as a pivotal resource and point of contact for assigned nurses, fostering teamwork and open communication.
• Float Pool nurses will clock in according to the unit worked, supporting departmental needs as scheduled.
