An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specialized in Emergency Room care to provide skilled nursing services in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract position focuses on delivering high-quality patient care within the emergency department during night shifts, supporting a team committed to critical and acute patient needs.
Location: Lorman, Mississippi offers a quiet, rural environment with close-knit community vibes. The area provides access to natural beauty, including nearby parks and historical sites, making it a serene place to balance work and personal life.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with specialized Emergency Room experience
- Minimum of 2 years working in an Emergency Department setting
- Certifications required: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
- Permanent address located over 50 miles from the facility to meet contract requirements
- All certifications must be valid and submitted with the application
Responsibilities:
- Administer emergency care to critically ill or injured patients
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to implement patient care plans
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions continuously
- Maintain accurate records of nursing care and patient progress
- Respond quickly to emergency situations to stabilize patients
Schedule:
- Night shift hours from 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m.
This is a 13-week contract position providing valuable experience and the chance to work in a well-established emergency department. Candidates will benefit from a focused role that requires and enhances emergency nursing skills and professional development.
