An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in Emergency Room care. In this role, you will deliver coordinated nursing care in accordance with established clinical standards and the nursing process, ensuring patients receive high-quality, compassionate care. Youll supervise and guide nursing staff of various levels, collaborating with other healthcare professionals and departments to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Your critical thinking skills and professional judgment will be essential as you assess and respond to dynamic situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for emergency room patients or designated groups, following protocols and standards
- Oversee and direct assigned nursing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond to emergencies with swift, appropriate interventions and clear communication
- Closely monitor patient condition, documenting observations, interventions, and outcomes in medical records
- Contribute to an environment of continuous education and professional development
- For Float Pool nurses, accurately track hours according to assignments as per facility protocols
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Active RN license and compliance with all state and regulatory requirements
- Previous experience in Emergency Room (ER) nursing essential
- Proven ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in fast-paced settings
- Strong supervisory skills and leadership qualities to manage multi-disciplinary teams
- Excellent interpersonal abilities to coordinate care seamlessly
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and compassion
