Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Valid and unencumbered RN license
- At least one year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
- Demonstrates effective critical thinking and independent judgment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to supervise, direct, and mentor various levels of nursing staff
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (as required)
Responsibilities / Duties:
- Deliver exceptional nursing care to an assigned group of patients in the ER
- Supervise and guide nursing staff within floated units
- Collaborate across disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Employ critical thinking and professional discretion in all patient encounters
- Adhere to established standards, policies, and the nursing process
- Complete educational requirements and participate in non-productive Float Pool activities as assigned
- Ensure accurate timekeeping when working within various units
