Registered Nurse Emergency Room (Travel)
Location: Long Beach, CA
A healthcare facility is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with Emergency Room experience to join their team on a travel assignment in the Long Beach area. This role focuses on providing critical and compassionate care to patients in the fast-paced ER environment. The position supports a Float Pool nursing team, with hours dedicated to education and non-productive activities. When working directly on a unit, nurses are required to clock in accordingly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the Emergency Room
- Assess patient conditions, administer treatments, and collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain clinical competency
- Support Float Pool nursing functions while maintaining flexibility to work on different units as needed
- Accurately document patient information and nursing activities in compliance with facility standards
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Proven experience in Emergency Room nursing
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced healthcare setting
