Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and valid RN license
- Minimum one year of recent ER nursing experience required
- BLS and ACLS certification (additional certifications such as PALS or TNCC are highly valued)
- Strong assessment and clinical skills in emergency settings
- Excellent communication and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Proficient with electronic health records and standard medical equipment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and triage according to clinical acuity
- Implement and monitor individualized care plans for patients in the ER
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as needed
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and support staff
- Provide clear and compassionate updates to patients and their families regarding care and progress
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all patient interactions and interventions
- Prioritize patient safety, infection control, and effective crisis response at all times
