This emergency department features 30 beds with 20 adjacent hallways and emphasizes patient-centered care, maintaining manageable 4:1 staffing ratios. With access to modern medication and documentation systems, such as Pyxis and Cerner, youll utilize your skills in a highly supportive environmentcomplete with 24-hour pharmacy and phlebotomy support, as well as available hospitalist coverage.

Schedule/Hours:

• Self-scheduling for ultimate flexibility
• Weekend coverage required: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period
• No call responsibilities
• Task RN weekend float shifts only

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care aligned with ER protocols
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team that includes 24-hr pharmacy, phlebotomy, and hospitalist support
• Accurately document using Cerner Electronic Health Record system
• Effectively manage medication through the Pyxis system
• Maintain patient safety and uphold established staffing ratios

Desired Qualifications:

• Active RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications
• Recent emergency department experience preferred
• Proficient with Cerner and Pyxis systems (preferred)
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and time-management abilities
• Adaptability and a collaborative spirit
