Utilizing your skills as an experienced Registered Nurse in the ER, you will deliver high-quality, timely patient care while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to drive optimal outcomes.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license
- Proven experience working as an RN in an ER or acute care setting
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Strong assessment, triage, and prioritization abilities
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
- Adaptable and calm in high-pressure situations
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care in the emergency department
- Conduct quick and thorough assessments to determine the appropriate level of care and prioritize treatment
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient status according to clinical protocols
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately in electronic medical records
- Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and ancillary staff to create a safe, supportive environment for patients and their families
- Participate in rapid response and code events, providing immediate, skilled interventions
- Maintain a sterile and organized environment, ensuring compliance with infection control and hospital policies
