This travel nursing role in a high-acuity emergency department is perfect for experienced RNs seeking to broaden their expertise within a respected large facility. Schedule:
- Hours: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
- 36 hours per week
Qualifications:
- 3+ years recent ER nursing experience required (5+ years in ER and large facility experience preferred)
- Current KS or compact RN license
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills in high-pressure situations
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments
- New graduates are not eligible
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced emergency room setting
- Rapidly assess and triage patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Float to other units only rarely; support other departments as required
- Rotate on-call shifts and fulfill occasional weekend or holiday requirements
