Advance your nursing career in a dynamic emergency environment, providing critical care to diverse patient populations during the night shift (7PM 7AM). This contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and support quality patient outcomes in an engaging, fast-paced setting.

Key Schedule Details:

• Night shifts: 7PM 7AM
• Rotating weekends (up to 2 per 4 weeks)
• Flexible floating to other units as needed when patient census or acuity requires

Essential Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Active New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from AHA (or ENPC)
• TNCC or ATCN certification required
• CPI or equivalent preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in emergency nursing best practices and age-appropriate patient care
• Strong communication skills sensitive to diverse patient needs and developmental stages

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with unit standards and patient age-specific requirements
• Coordinate care delivery, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Ensure care aligns with organizational values and patient rights
• Respond confidently to emergencies and adapt rapidly in high-pressure clinical situations
• Float between units as needed, serving as a valuable resource for patient care support
• Foster a respectful, compassionate environment for patients, families, and staff members
