As a travel RN in the Emergency Department, you will:
Schedule/Hours:
- Travel position; schedule details provided during interview process
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver coordinated, evidence-based nursing care to assigned ER patients, ensuring adherence to established protocols and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct assigned nursing staff at various levels, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
- Utilize critical thinking, professional discretion, and sound judgment in high-pressure situations
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with other healthcare disciplines for optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately and maintain thorough records
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of California
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum of 1 year recent ER experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal, supervisory, and decision-making skills
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, diverse clinical setting
