Job Description
Step into a critical nursing role within a fast-paced emergency department, where your expertise as an experienced ER Registered Nurse will make a real difference to patient care. Youll collaborate with dedicated healthcare professionals to provide immediate, life-saving treatments and support for patients in urgent and emergent situations.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Current and valid RN license
- Minimum of one year recent ER experience (preferred)
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress scenarios
- Proficient with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Schedule:
- Full-time, variable shifts based on department needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to ER patients in accordance with established protocols
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs rapidly and accurately
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with policies
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on swift diagnosis and treatment
- Communicate effectively with patients and families, providing compassionate support
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation of patient care and interventions
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and hospital protocols
