This travel assignment places you in a busy, 21-room emergency department equipped to handle trauma and fast-track cases. You'll gain first-hand experience working with a diverse patient population and a multidisciplinary team that includes live intensivists during the day, teleintensivist support overnight, 24/7 hospitalists, and access to robust pharmacy and phlebotomy services. Exposure to different documentation (Cerner) and medication management (Omnicell) systems ensures youll broaden your skills and adaptabilitykey assets for career advancement.
As a travel RN-ER, youll be immersed in varied workplace cultures and leadership styles, strengthening your clinical acumen while building a stand-out resume. Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license with Emergency Department experience
- BLS, ACLS certifications (PALS and TNCC preferred)
- Proficiency in using electronic documentation and medication systems (Cerner, Omnicell)
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to diverse emergency cases
- Collaborate with physicians, hospitalists, and specialists for optimal outcomes
- Utilize Cerner for documentation and Omnicell for medication management
