Youll collaborate closely with seasoned providers and receive exposure to various protocols in both rural and trauma-level IV environments. Between shifts, soak in endless hiking, winter sports, and the charm of mountain communitiesan inspiring backdrop for personal and professional growth.

Schedule & Hours:

  • Nights: Three 12-hour shifts each week
  • Two on-call shifts per week
  • Rotating coverage: Granby and Kremmling (may occasionally cover Fraser)
  • Holidays and on-call coverage required

Skills & Experience Desired:

  • Active RN license (unrestricted)
  • Minimum of recent, relevant ED experience; CAH and trauma-level IV preferred
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and CEN highly desirable
  • Strong clinical judgment and adaptability across settings
  • Ability to work autonomously and efficiently in rural hospitals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and coordination of emergency care
  • Manage patient care from admission through discharge using clinical pathways and protocols
  • Deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emergency medicine standards
