Youll collaborate closely with seasoned providers and receive exposure to various protocols in both rural and trauma-level IV environments. Between shifts, soak in endless hiking, winter sports, and the charm of mountain communitiesan inspiring backdrop for personal and professional growth.
Schedule & Hours:
- Nights: Three 12-hour shifts each week
- Two on-call shifts per week
- Rotating coverage: Granby and Kremmling (may occasionally cover Fraser)
- Holidays and on-call coverage required
Skills & Experience Desired:
- Active RN license (unrestricted)
- Minimum of recent, relevant ED experience; CAH and trauma-level IV preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and CEN highly desirable
- Strong clinical judgment and adaptability across settings
- Ability to work autonomously and efficiently in rural hospitals
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and coordination of emergency care
- Manage patient care from admission through discharge using clinical pathways and protocols
- Deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emergency medicine standards
