This role offers immersion in a fast-paced Emergency Department with 28 beds and a supportive staff environment. As an RN in this setting, youll collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals, further developing clinical judgment and adaptability in acute ER scenarios. Schedule/Hours:
- 4 weekend shifts per month
- No on-call requirement
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current RN with acute Emergency Room experience
- Certifications: TNCC, PALS, ACLS, BLS required
- Experience with trauma nursing is a plus
- Proficient in IV starts, blood draws, resuscitation, EKG
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR
- Active, personable personality suited to high-acuity, team-based environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a 28-bed ER
- Work closely with charge nurses, fellow RNs, techs, and unit secretary on both day and night shifts
- Maintain 4:1 patient ratios, ensuring swift, attentive care
- Float to designated areas as needed
