Providing critical care in a dynamic emergency environment, this travel nursing opportunity centers on delivering high-quality patient care in a busy Emergency Department with 28 beds. The team consists of 15 staff members working day and night shifts, maintaining a patient-to-nurse ratio of 4:1. Nurses with acute ER experience will thrive in this fast-paced setting equipped with Meditech EMR and advanced emergency care tools, where procedures include IV starts, blood draws, resuscitation, and EKGs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional emergency nursing care to patients in critical or acute conditions
  • Perform standard ER procedures including IV insertion, blood draws, resuscitation, and EKG monitoring
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure effective patient management
  • Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR following unit policies and guidelines
  • Work four weekend shifts per month; no on-call responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license with current certifications in TNCC, PALS, ACLS, and BLS required
  • Proven acute ER nursing experience mandatory
  • Trauma experience preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Professional, personable demeanor with strong critical thinking skills

Schedule:

  • Shift: Day and night rotations available
  • Weekend shifts required: 4 per month
  • No on-call duties
