Schedule/Hours:
- Orientation is bi-weekly with upcoming dates: 4/27, 5/4, 5/11.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current RN license, valid for North Carolina or compact licensure
- Minimum of 1-2 years recent ER nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Skills in triage, emergency procedures, and trauma response
- Meditech EHR experience highly preferred
- Candidates must live 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify
Key Responsibilities:
- Quickly assess patient conditions and prioritize care in a busy emergency setting
- Administer medications, IVs, and treatment plans per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-focused emergency care
- Document assessments, treatments, and patient progress accurately
- Provide critical patient and family education, support, and advocacy
