Schedule/Hours:
- 36-48 weekly hours
- Every other weekend required
- Must be available for any holiday that falls on a regularly scheduled shift
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Current BLS & ACLS certifications (required)
- PALS certification (preferred)
- Previous ER experience strongly preferred
- Strong assessment, prioritization, and crisis management skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver advanced emergency nursing care to patients with varying acuity levels
- Rapidly assess and respond to patient conditions in collaboration with physicians and the multidisciplinary team
- Administer treatments, medications, and interventions per physician orders
- Appropriately document care and patient responses using electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and resources
