Deliver exceptional care as a registered nurse in a dynamic emergency care setting in the greater Indianapolis area. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple free-standing emergency departments, including Avon, Castleton, Plainfield, and Indy South, with potential floating to the Adult Emergency Department at the main campus. As an integral part of the emergency care team, youll respond quickly and compassionately to a wide range of acute medical situations, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

Schedule/Hours:

• Flexible scheduling to accommodate day, evening, and night shifts based on facility needs
• Must be willing to float between multiple sites throughout the duration of the contract

Qualifications:

• Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an Emergency Room (ER) setting
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
• Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment abilities
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Willingness to float among multiple facilities as needed

Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients experiencing medical emergencies
• Triage and prioritize patient care in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with emergency physicians, technicians, and interdisciplinary teams
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as directed
• Provide continuous assessment, monitoring, and documentation of patient conditions
• Support patient education, family communication, and discharge planning
• Adhere strictly to infection control and safety protocols
