Provide critical care as a Registered Nurse in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting located in Humble, TX. This travel role offers an opportunity to utilize your acute ER nursing skills within a well-staffed team on the first floor of a modern healthcare facility. Deliver high-quality patient care in a 28-bed unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 4:1, supported by experienced colleagues and advanced equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform emergency nursing procedures including IV starts, blood draws, resuscitation, and EKGs
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals on day and night shifts to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain patient records using Meditech EMR system
- Participate in unit protocols while adhering to dress code and hospital policies
- Work 4 weekend shifts per month, with no on-call requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid RN licensure with proven Acute Emergency Room experience (mandatory)
- Certifications: TNCC, PALS, ACLS, BLS required before starting
- Strong interpersonal skills; energetic and personable demeanor preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a team and handle emergency situations efficiently
