As a travel Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Care, you will gain invaluable insight working alongside diverse healthcare professionals who bring unique perspectives to emergency medicine. Exposure to a broad patient population, from trauma cases to pediatric emergencies, means every shift offers fresh learning opportunities and the chance to enhance your clinical skills. Schedule/Hours
- Night shifts: 7:00pm 7:00am
- 36 guaranteed hours weekly
- 4 weekend shifts every 4 weeks
- No call or float requirements
Qualifications/Desired Experience
- Active RN license in good standing
- At least 2 years recent ER nursing experience (trauma and pediatric experience preferred)
- Current ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC certifications
- Strong teamwork, adaptability, and reliability
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to trauma, STEMI, cardiac, GI, psychiatric, stroke, and diverse emergency patients across all ages
- Skillfully utilize Cerner EHR and modern ED equipment
- Maintain a patient ratio: 4:1 (pod), 2:1 (critical), 6:1 (fast track)
- Effectively collaborate with care teams and ensure patient safety
