Position Overview:
This travel nursing opportunity in Hilo is a 15-week assignment, requiring arrival on the Thursday before your start date for a pre-assignment health appointment. Youll be part of a 28-bed ER that includes 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms. With swift patient turnover and a collegial atmosphere, youll sharpen your assessment, triage, and critical care skills.
Schedule:
- Days 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours weekly)
- No guarantee of hours
What You'll Do:
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
- Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Deliver care in trauma, cardiac, and behavioral health situations
- Adapt swiftly to a high volume of critical cases and patient turnover
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow all hospital protocols
What Were Looking For:
- Active Hawaii RN license (or eligibilitymust apply for state license immediately upon offer)
- At least one year of recent experience as an ER Registered Nurse
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Preferred: Procedural Sedation, TMCC, and EMPC certifications
- Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and team communication skills
