Job Description
Deliver critical patient care and make a lasting impact in a fast-paced emergency environment as an experienced RN specializing in Emergency Room nursing. This contract opportunity offers engagement with acute cases, collaborative work with multidisciplinary teams, and direct patient interaction at every stage of care.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (unencumbered)
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an ER/ED setting
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required; PALS and TNCC preferred
- Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
- Proficient IV skills and familiarity with common ER procedures and equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform swift, accurate patient assessments and provide emergency interventions
- Collaborate closely with emergency physicians, specialists, and ancillary staff
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocols and providers orders
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in electronic medical records systems
- Uphold patient safety and follow all infection control guidelines
