This role in a dynamic emergency department promises hands-on experience with diverse patient populations and a range of acute conditions, allowing you to deepen your clinical acumen. Rotating among different teams and leadership approaches will broaden your perspective, while adding valuable skills and experiences to your resume. With orientations offered twice each month, seamless integration into the facility is assured.

Schedule/Hours

  • Night shift: 7:00pm7:00am
  • 36 guaranteed hours weekly
  • 4 weekend shifts within each 4-week period
  • No call requirements

Qualifications

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years recent Emergency Department nursing experience
  • Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC
  • Strong trauma and pediatric background preferred
  • Team-oriented, resilient, and adaptable personality

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, effective care for patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric in a 22-bed emergency department
  • Maintain patient ratios: 4:1 for pod patients, 2:1 for critical care, 6:1 for fast track
  • Handle diverse cases: trauma, STEMI, psych, cardiac, GI, stroke, and more
  • Document using the Cerner EHR system
  • Adhere to professional dress code: scrubs in any color or print
