Working in a fast-paced emergency environment expands your professional horizons as you engage with a diverse patient population and collaborate with experienced clinicians and leaders. Gaining hands-on experience in a 22-bed Emergency Department with advanced technologyincluding Cerner EHRwill enhance your skills and build your resume with highly valued competencies.
Schedule & Hours:
- 7p-7a shifts
- 36 hours/week, with 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period
Qualifications:
- Current RN license
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience preferred
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC required
- Experience in trauma and pediatrics preferred
- Hard-working, team-oriented, resilient, and adaptable
- Comfortable caring for a wide range of patient types: trauma, STEMI, psychiatric, cardiac, gastrointestinal, and stroke
- All patient age groups: geriatric, adult, pediatrics
Responsibilities:
- Provide exemplary emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations
- Demonstrate accuracy and efficiency with Cerner EHR documentation
- Manage varying acuity levels (4:1 pod patients, 2:1 critical, 6:1 fast track)
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Deliver compassionate care in high-pressure situations
