Schedule & Hours:
- Night shift: 3PM to 3AM
- Variable days of the week
- (2) 24hr call shifts required within an 8-week period
- Minimum every other weekend
- Must be available to work at least 2 major and 2 minor holidays
Qualifications:
- Active RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
- BLS/ARC-BLS certification (required upon hire)
- ACLS or equivalent (required upon hire or provisional within 180 days)
- PALS or equivalent (required upon hire or provisional within 180 days)
- TNCC/ATCN or equivalent (required upon hire or provisional within 18 months)
- Strong command of the English language
- Basic computer and clinical technology abilities
- Proven critical thinking and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and customer service skills
- Ability to work decisively and respectfully in fast-paced or emergent situations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality emergency care to diverse patient populations
- Rapidly assess and respond to urgent and emergent clinical situations
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety
- Document patient information efficiently and accurately
- Engage in evidence-based nursing practices
