Professionally, working as an Emergency RN in a fast-paced urban setting exposes you to a wide spectrum of medical cases, systems, and patient populations. Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00pm 7:30am
- 36 hours per week
- Every Other Weekend Rotation
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 1-2 years recent Emergency Department experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS and TNCC preferred)
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
- Ability to excel under pressure in a high-acuity environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver prompt, high-quality care to patients experiencing medical emergencies
- Perform rapid patient assessments and initiate appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on care plans and follow-up instructions
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
