Schedule/Hours:
- 0700-1930 (Day Shift with 5 RNs, 3 ED Techs)
- 1900-0730 (Night Shift with 5 RNs, 3 ED Techs)
- Weekend coverage: Required (24/7)
- Call: Not required
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license
- Minimum 1 year of recent ER nursing experience preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (as required for the role)
- Proficiency with Cerner FirstNet EMR or similar systems
- Excellent critical thinking and multitasking abilities
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a busy, 108-bed emergency department
- Triage, assess, and monitor patients with a variety of urgent conditions
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure optimal outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocols
- Document patient progress using Cerner FirstNet
- Support and educate patients and their families
- Adhere to hospital policies and evidence-based nursing standards
