This engaging travel opportunity is in an emergency room environment within a modern facility serving the community with 108 beds. As a registered nurse in the ER, you will work shoulder-to-shoulder with expert clinicians and respond to a wide range of patient needs, providing critical, compassionate care at a crucial point in peoples lives. The experience you acquire here will stand out as an example of both your adaptability and clinical excellence.
Schedule/Hours:
- 0700-1930 or 1900-0730
- 5 RNs and 3 ED Techs per shift
- Full 24/7 weekly coverage rotation
- No on-call requirements; consistent weekend shifts
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of one year recent ER nursing experience
- Proficiency with Cerner FirstNet EMR (preferred)
- BLS, ACLS, and additional certifications as required
- Skilled in crisis response and prioritizing patient safety
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care in the fast-paced emergency setting
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams
- Accurately document patient information using Cerner FirstNet
- Communicate and coordinate care effectively with all levels of staff
