This assignment allows registered nurses with emergency room experience to work in a dynamic, 108-bed hospital setting. Collaborate with a dedicated staff, adapting to different leadership approaches and diverse clinical practices. Enhance your clinical expertise by working alongside teams that rely on Cerner FirstNet for EMR, and use this experience to boost your rsum with sought-after skills and exposure to new systems.
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour shifts: 7:00 am 7:30 pm or 7:00 pm 7:30 am
- Staffing per shift: 5 RNs, 3 ED Techs
- 24/7 coverage including weekends; No call required
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license, unrestricted and in good standing
- Minimum of one year recent ER experience (preferred)
- Proficiency with Cerner FirstNet EMR a plus
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (current/valid)
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive emergency care to patients presenting with acute and complex conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Utilize Cerner FirstNet for charting and documentation
- Uphold the highest standards of infection control and patient safety
- Remain adaptable and responsive to evolving patient and unit needs
