Schedule:
- Shifts: 0700-1930 or 1900-0730 (12-hour shifts)
- 5 RNs and 3 ED Techs per shift
- 24/7 weekend coverage required
- No on-call duties
As a valued member of the Emergency Department nursing team, you'll work in a dynamic 108-bed hospital using the Cerner FirstNet EMR system. A cohesive shift structure ensures strong collaboration with fellow RNs and ED Techs, fostering an environment where you can learn from experienced colleagues. While special equipment or procedures are not required, adaptability and clinical acumen will be key as you deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced ER setting. Please note that navy blue scrubs are the standard (not provided).
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Experience in emergency room nursing (ER/ED)
- Proficient with Cerner FirstNet EMR preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to commit to weekend coverage
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the ER
- Quickly assess and respond to patient needs
- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure safe, effective treatment
- Document care using Cerner FirstNet EMR
- Uphold patient safety and hospital protocols
