Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Georgia
• Minimum of one year of recent emergency department experience preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS and TNCC certifications a plus
• Sound clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Knowledgeable in the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act
• Familiarity with the American Nurses Association Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics
• Strong commitment to upholding patient advocacy, confidentiality, and system policies

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for diverse populations in a fast-paced ER setting
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse managers, and allied health professionals for optimal patient outcomes
• Respond promptly to emergent situations, providing expert interventions and stabilization
• Accurately document care, interventions, and response in the health record
• Advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs are communicated and addressed
• Participate in shared governance, ongoing education, and performance improvement initiatives
