Schedule:
- Nights: 7 PM 7 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Occasional voluntary on-call
- Floating as needed to support during low census
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited program in Registered Nursing
- Active New Mexico RN license or Compact state license required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certification from AHA required
- TNCC or ATCN certification required; CPI or equivalent preferred
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with a range of patient populations
- Solid clinical judgment and the ability to respond to emergencies
- Familiarity with patients rights and consistent, respectful care delivery
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement quality patient care tailored to the Emergency Department setting
- Collaborate with physicians, care teams, and families for optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to departmental and organizational standards, policies, and mission
- Manage high-pressure situations and adapt swiftly to clinical needs
- Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols
