Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Current RN license, in good standing
• Proven experience working in an emergency room setting
• Ability to exercise independent judgment, critical thinking, and professional discretion
• Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate care across disciplines
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience with nursing staff is highly valued
• BLS, ACLS, and other relevant certifications as required

Schedule:

• Contract position; schedule details to be discussed during the interview process

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in compliance with all standards of care
• Oversee and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Demonstrate adaptability and readiness to work across departments as needed, including the Float Pool
• Support and educate peers when appropriate, fostering a positive clinical environment
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines ensuring optimal outcomes
