Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Current RN license, in good standing
  • Minimum of one year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience preferred
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Proven ability to work with diverse patient groups
  • Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience a plus
  • BLS/ACLS certification required

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver coordinated nursing care to individual patients or assigned groups, adhering to established standards and the nursing process
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff at various levels, ensuring high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement comprehensive care plans
  • Exercise professional discretion, independent judgment, and critical thinking in fast-paced situations
  • Maintain meticulous patient records and comply with all regulatory policies
  • If working through the Float Pool, ensure accurate timekeeping per unit assignment
