Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current RN license, in good standing
- Minimum of one year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Proven ability to work with diverse patient groups
- Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience a plus
- BLS/ACLS certification required
Responsibilities:
- Deliver coordinated nursing care to individual patients or assigned groups, adhering to established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff at various levels, ensuring high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement comprehensive care plans
- Exercise professional discretion, independent judgment, and critical thinking in fast-paced situations
- Maintain meticulous patient records and comply with all regulatory policies
- If working through the Float Pool, ensure accurate timekeeping per unit assignment
