Job Description
Deliver critical care in a fast-paced emergency room setting, providing triage, treatment, and support for trauma and emergency patients of all ages. This travel nursing role is ideal for RNs with Emergency Room experience who thrive in acute care environments and are seeking a dynamic assignment in Glendale, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive triage and assessment of patients presenting with a variety of emergent conditions.
- Administer moderate sedation and monitor patient response according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality trauma and emergency care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and interventions.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement activities related to emergency and trauma care.
- Comply with NCI (Nationally Certified Interpreter) requirements to enhance patient communication and safety.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure and Emergency Room nursing experience in an acute care setting.
- Moderate Sedation Training certification required.
- Experience working in a trauma-designated emergency department or similar critical care environment.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-pressure situations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively support patients and team members.
